Shelby Jean Embleton, 79, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away peacefully with her son, Steven, by her side on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Circle of Life in Bentonville.  She was born February 1, 1946, in Glen Burnie, Maryland to Kyle Emmis Singleton and Margaret Virginia Sheppard Singleton.

She volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club in Bentonville for over twenty-six years, selflessly giving her time and impacting many young lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David, in 1993; and one sister, Cindy Force.

Shelby is survived by one son, Steven Embleton, of the home; one sister, Kathy Myers of Hawaii; one brother, David Singleton, of Aurora, Missouri and her nephews, Eric and Brian Whitesides.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 with the funeral starting at 12:30 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Arkansas followed by burial in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.

She will be missed by the many friends who were fortunate to have known her and countless boys and girls that have grown into fine adults due, in part, to the time, energy and love Shelby gave them.
