Shemon Chanel Carney, 57, of Pea Ridge was called home to the Lord, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

She was born July 28, 1962 in Rockport, Illinois to Dale Gene Ayen and Patricia Mosier Ayen. She was a loving individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She married Tom Carney in 1982 and together they raised three wonderful boys who blessed them with three beautiful grandchildren. Above all, Shemon was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Floyd Mosier.

Survivors are her husband, Tom Carney of the home; her parents, Dale and Pat Ayen of Bella Vista; three sons, Josh Carney and wife Jennifer of Pea Ridge, Dillon Carney and wife Candice of Bella Vista, Tyler Carney and girlfriend Chyenne of Rogers; two sisters, Shamere Ayen of Pea Ridge, Shondel Obenland and husband Christopher of Daphne, Alabama; three grandchildren, Brody, Peyton and Claire.

Service is set for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 6 at Twelve Corners Baptist Church in Garfield with Pastor Rick Booyer officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation is set for 6-8p.m. Monday night at the funeral home. Burial will be in Twelve Corners Cemetery.
