Sheryl Lynn Horton, 62, of Garfield, Arkansas died August 28, 2025.

She was born July 4, 1963 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Loren Neal Nelson and Beverly Ann Anderson Nelson. She married Dennis James Horton March 17, 1982 and was currently employed for twenty-nine years as an event planner for Wal-Mart Home Office in Bentonville. Sheryl loved her grandkids and family, bringing joy to the people in her life and making every event special. She was selfless always putting others first. Even battling her health for many years she never lost her faith in Jesus and was a faithful member of Boundless Grace Church in Rogers. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband Dennis Horton; two children, Matthew Horton and Stephanie Horton of Garfield; brothers, Greg Nelson of Garfield, Mike Nelson (Amy) of Pea Ridge, Randy Nelson (Mariah) of Garfield; two grandchildren, Mattie and Raegan Horton and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation is set for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Boundless Grace Church, 222 Little Flock Drive, Rogers, Ar. 72756 with service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
