Shirley Jean Frost, 89, of Garfield, died November 19 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

She was born October 13, 1931 in Freeport, Illinois, to Leroy Griffin and Mary Meyers Griffin. She was a secretary at McDonald Douglas Aeronautics in St. Louis, Missouri, retiring after forty-five years. In 1997 she moved to the area to make her home. Shirley enjoyed gardening, decorating, and was a movie buff. She was a member of Refuge Church in Rogers and is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack Lee Frost.

Survivors are a daughter, Mary Ann Smith of Garfield and a son Timothy Peter Nack of Novato, California; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
