Obituary

Tory Andrew Cottingham of Centerton, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Tory was born in Rogers, Arkansas on March 22, 1990 to Paul and Linda Cottingham.

Tory was a gifted instructor and talented public speaker, he had a remarkable ability to teach anyone. He took great pride in his student's success and found genuine joy in helping others grow and thrive. He was also a talented singer and songwriter who loved performing for audiences at various venues, sharing his music and his heart through song.

In addition to teaching and singing, Tory officiated many weddings, helping couples celebrate and share one of the most important days of their lives. He considered it an honor to be a part of those moments and brought sincerity and warmth to every ceremony.

Tory was an influential father figure in the lives of his sons, Riley and Payton. He cared for his family deeply and took pride in being part of their growth in life. He had a strong love for animals, especially his beloved cat, Savage, and his dog, Sahara, who brought him comfort and companionship.

Tory also loved tattoos and saw them as a form of self-expression and storytelling, each one reflecting a piece of his life and his journey through it.

Tory was preceded in death by his first wife, Melissa Thibodeaux; and his mother Linda Harrison Cottingham. He is survived by his father, Paul Cottingham; one sister, Ranee White of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; one brother, Josh Meeks of Bentonville, Arkansas; four nephews and five nieces; also survived by the mother of his children, Candice Evans.

Above all, Tory loved his friends and family deeply. He was cherished by many, and the impact he made through his kindness, humor, and talents will never be forgotten. He will live on in the music, laughter, lessons, and love he shared so freely.

A memorial service will be held at Ignite Church in Rogers, Arkansas on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
