Obituary

Travis Neal Bradstreet (Pappy), age 83, lived a life centered around family, hard work, and the simple joys that made life special.

Neal was born in Wheeler, Texas on March 16, 1943 to Travis Elidge Bradstreet and Zell Francis Wood and passed away peacefully at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Arkansas on October 26th, 2026.

He is the beloved husband of Jerri Nell (Browning) Bradstreet, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 1968 through H.L. Dacus where he was a machinist and he retired at Preformed Line Products on June 8th, 2012. Neal and Jerri started growing their family in 1964 with the birth of their first daughter, Barbara Lynn. In 1969 they welcomed their second daughter Kristi June. Their life together was filled with years of memories, love, and the blessings of watching their family grow through the generations. Neal was known to many as Pappy. He wasn’t a man of many words, but when he spoke, everyone listened. He had a quiet strength about him, a presence that did not need to be loud to be felt, and a wisdom that came from a lifetime of experiences. In his younger years, he enjoyed coaching youth and women’s softball and playing co-ed softball alongside his daughters. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of his favorite memories were made traveling to Texas for bird hunting and family reunions.

Neal was a hardworking man by nature. He kept his hands busy and took pride in working on things himself. In his retirement, he found happiness in the things he loved most: watching western movies, the game show network, playing cards and board games, grilling on the back patio, spending time with family, and cheering on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they participated in the activities they loved. Their accomplishments and milestones brought him joy, and he treasured the opportunity to be part of their lives.

He also shared a special bond with his little dog, Chex, who was faithfully by his side for the last 16 years. Chex was more than just a pet; he was a beloved companion and a special part of his life.

Neal will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for his family, and the quiet, meaningful ways he showed those around him that he cared. His legacy lives on in the generations he helped raise, the memories he created, and the family who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his father, Travis E. Bradstreet, mother Zell Wood, and one sister Norma Jones. He is survived by his wife, Jerri Bradstreet of Rogers Arkansas, sister, Hallie Smith of Sand Springs Oklahoma, two daughters Barbara Tate (Billy) of Gateway, Arkansas and Kristi Morgan (Carroll) of Washburn, Missouri. He is also survived by his bonus daughter Dawn Tajchman (Greg) of Decatur, Arkansas. Grandchildren, Anthony Brandon (Kasie), Jeremy Brandon, (Sabrina), Joshua Brandon (Barbara), Dusty Morgan (Abby), Shelby Davis (Carson), Ashton Tate, Megan Tate, Carlton Morgan (Aleaka), Megan Rice (Driston) and several great-grandchildren who he loved dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, giving family and friends the opportunity to come together and honor his memory.
