Obituary

Tyler Lee Shelton, 21, of Pea Ridge, died March 22, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

He was born September 25, 1996 in Talaqueh, Oklahoma, to Eddie Lee Shelton and Geri Lynn Weston Shelton. He was a 2015 graduate of Pea Ridge High School and attended NWACC majoring in Industrial Mechanical Engineering. He attended Camp War Eagle, was a member of SEEK, FBLA and earned his arrow of light badge in Cub Scouts. He played footall for the Pea Ridge Blackhawks and he began playing the trombone in sixth grade later becoming a member of the Pea Ridge Blackhawk Band. He attended the University of Central Arkansas Band Camp for several years and loved music. He enjoyed playing video games, reading, working on his car, canoeing and was a marksman with his recurve bow. Tyler was a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation and attended Mt Vernon Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors are his mother Geri Shelton of the home and many friends.

Service is set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge with Pastor Matt Noetzel officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
