Wilfred Wayne McCoy, 63, of Topeka, Kansas died June 9, 2025.

He was born March 13, 1962 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Donald Wayne McCoy and Valerie Pauline Bryant. He worked and retired from Heartland Auto-Chlor in Kansas City, Kansas. He was an amazing cook, loved to watch the Kansas Jayhawks, Chiefs and the Royals. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends, was a wonderful husband, grandfather and papa to his kids and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harold Huff.

Survivors are his wife, Caroline McCoy of the home; children, Jennifer Ketter of Topeka, Kansas; Rose Thuma (Chris) of Topeka, Kansas, Jennifer McCoy of Topeka, Ks., Jason Ketter of Palm Bay, Florida, Joe McCoy (Cassie) of Topeka, Kansas; Siblings, Jean Dederich (Howard) Milwaukee, Marilyn Beckwith (Clifford) Groton, Jerry McCoy (Nancy) Groton, Charles McCoy (Mary) Lewisville; sister-in-law, Monica Huff: Grandchildren, Ariania (Jovan), Douglas (Elysia), Madison, Christopher Jr., Sierrah, Micah, Nicky and Korrah; seven great-grandchildren plus 1 on the way and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
